I hadn’t thought about how shame impacted how I trusted - or rather didn’t trust myself. Shame was a heavy hitter during most of my life. So many mistakes and wrong choices. But slowly over the years and decades of healing I began to realize that many of those decisions of mine were pure survival instincts kicking into gear.

Part of my online class discussion thread about education.    I have been thinking about my own experiences in education while reading Whitehead.
