Sweet Reprieve

It snowed today.



     Sadly, not this much.  But I like the picture.  Winter is my favorite time of year.  I'm just not feeling ready to let it go yet, so when I looked out the window during class - thrill!

What I know now, that I did not know then, is that when we get quiet our demons arise. Any unresolved emotional wounds come roaring up. This is why many of us back away from meditation - it’s no fun at first! But this is actually a good thing because it allows us to become self aware of what’s inside (and running the show).
