Math Air

     Why is it that I seem to have far fewer questions when I do my math homework in the math lab?  I suspect it's because of all the math air I'm breathing in.  Math building.  Math students.  Math thoughts swirling all around me.  One more deep breath.

What I know now, that I did not know then, is that when we get quiet our demons arise. Any unresolved emotional wounds come roaring up. This is why many of us back away from meditation - it’s no fun at first! But this is actually a good thing because it allows us to become self aware of what’s inside (and running the show).
