Answer: We, Deer, will speak to you today through this channel. We do not need a channel to speak for us as many of you already know. You know this because you speak with us directly already. And many of you yearn to do so. In part, this channel is to let you know that we are here. We can hear your yearnings. You do not need to wish for a connection with us any more. Simply speak to us in your mind. We hear you. We will respond. We long to connect with you on this level. This is the type of relationship we had with you in a time long gone. We are now returning to many aspects of that time. This includes communicating telepathically, for those of you who wish to do so. We, by nature, are gentle and kind. We are the perfect energy to initially connect with, if you feel hesitancy or fear. We will always be gentle and kind with you. That is what we did with this channel long along. She will tell you that we are the first animal that approached her to see if she wanted to connect. We find her initial story with us humorous (she has told this story many times, so we are not “tattle-telling" - as you call it). Susan talks of our first meeting with her and how “pissed off” she was because she had always been a gentle and kind person (but in an unhealthy way with unhealthy boundaries and so she suffered greatly from this dynamic). She thought she was getting “more of the same” when we approached her. She thought she wanted something fierce like a Lion or a Bear. Instead, she got us. What she didn’t know then but she understands now is that we were there to teach her the healthy version of this gentle and powerful energy. She has learned it well. We have loved our association with her over the years. We would also love to meet with you if you feel drawn to do so. That is all.

Part of my online class discussion thread about education.    I have been thinking about my own experiences in education while reading Whitehead. I read a particular paragraph, but I just about dismissed it as being non applicable.  Then I read it several more times and decided that it was perfect for me.  He said, “The essence of education is that it be religious”.  Now bear with me, because that’s where I got turned off.  I’m a big proponent of separation of church and state, so I immediately thought, “that’s not me”.  But now, I take it to mean something different.  I believe he isn’t saying to study religion, but rather to instill a religious type of “duty and reverence” into education.  OK, now he has my attention.  I’ve waited so many years to be back here in college, that I do feel a reverence about it.  The Holy Grail if you will, and hard won!  Whitehead states, “Where attainable knowledge could h...
