     It's 0735 and I'm sitting in my first math class.  The teacher is going over the bla bla bla of class logistics.  Much to my surprise I'm feeling a surge of excitement.  I'm so frickin' happy to be here!

What I know now, that I did not know then, is that when we get quiet our demons arise. Any unresolved emotional wounds come roaring up. This is why many of us back away from meditation - it’s no fun at first! But this is actually a good thing because it allows us to become self aware of what’s inside (and running the show).
