As an energy healer, Susan has worked with the body’s chakras (energy centers) for many years. Each one is unique and provides an insightful view of who we are and what is going on in our lives.

In today’s classet, we are going to cover energy flow. We call the energy of the body, “Life Force Energy.” Anything healthy - including Life Force Energy - is going to be moving, cycling, balanced, and strong. This could be physical (for example, think of the cells of our body). And it certainly applies to our energy anatomy. We healers know that if there is discomfort, disease, or pain in the physical body, we will certainly find a difficulty in the flow of energy somewhere. The trick is to get it flowing again which in turn will allow the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual to mend.

  I woke up sometime in the middle of the night to a frantic screeching sound.  Though I had never heard it before, I knew immediately what it was.  And the translation of it was as clear as a bell - "Wake up, there is danger!" My tiny backyard has a cluster of cedar trees.  One of the trunks had grown at a jaunty angle of about 45 degrees.  This is the wildlife highway of my neighborhood.  To my delight, many creatures use it as a handy "ladder" to go up to the tops of the cedars and back down again.  It is right next to my bedroom window and so when the screeching originated from this trunk, there was no way I wouldn't hear it.  I was suddenly awake and trying to make sense of what was happening.  Full panic was coming on, a place where I cannot hear the voice of animals nor my intuition.  I had already perceived that a possum was trying to get me to wake up and hear and respond to his message.  In order for me to fully get what h...

What I know now, that I did not know then, is that when we get quiet our demons arise. Any unresolved emotional wounds come roaring up. This is why many of us back away from meditation - it’s no fun at first! But this is actually a good thing because it allows us to become self aware of what’s inside (and running the show). Until we know what’s in there, we can’t do anything about it. And our demons will continue to make bad decisions for us as we go through life.
