Question: How do I know if someone is telling me the truth?

Susan’s Note: We all have Spirit Guides, whether we are aware of them or not. Take the time to get to know them. They know us. They love us. And they are here to help us.

Answer: All humans have an innate ability to know truth. It’s called intuition. You use it everyday, oftentimes without even knowing it. You would most likely not be able to get through your day very well without it. It would be helpful to start to pay attention to how you are using it now. From there, you can expand that ability to more conscious endeavors. We will say that one of the most difficult aspects for many humans to embrace about this process is the trusting part. Once you get an indication that something is off - perhaps when someone is telling you a lie - sometimes you doubt that that is what is really going on. You might come up with all kinds of excuses as to why that can’t possibly be a lie. It is at that moment that the lie is believed as truth. Not when you initially hear it, but rather when you decide this person couldn’t possibly lie to you and so you take it in as truth. If you really want to know truth, it comes in the examination of why you would not believe your own intuition, which is accurate and always works towards your best.

    Susan Fullmer is a writer, conscious channel, shamanic practitioner, psychic medium, energy healer, energy reader, teacher, mentor, group facilitator, nurse, and licensed massage therapist. Susan specializes in extraterrestrial connections, and she is a telepathic talker. She has been in private practice since 1990 with her business, Intuitive Explorations with Susan Fullmer.

  I woke up sometime in the middle of the night to a frantic screeching sound.  Though I had never heard it before, I knew immediately what it was.  And the translation of it was as clear as a bell - "Wake up, there is danger!" My tiny backyard has a cluster of cedar trees.  One of the trunks had grown at a jaunty angle of about 45 degrees.  This is the wildlife highway of my neighborhood.  To my delight, many creatures use it as a handy "ladder" to go up to the tops of the cedars and back down again.  It is right next to my bedroom window and so when the screeching originated from this trunk, there was no way I wouldn't hear it.  I was suddenly awake and trying to make sense of what was happening.  Full panic was coming on, a place where I cannot hear the voice of animals nor my intuition.  I had already perceived that a possum was trying to get me to wake up and hear and respond to his message.  In order for me to fully get what h...

What I know now, that I did not know then, is that when we get quiet our demons arise. Any unresolved emotional wounds come roaring up. This is why many of us back away from meditation - it’s no fun at first! But this is actually a good thing because it allows us to become self aware of what’s inside (and running the show).
